What is Sokol Run of the Republic
Sokol Run of the Republic is annual celebration of foundation of Czechoslovakia, that is why it is held on October 28th. In 2019 we started second hundred of our republic. We renewed this running tradition which has basics in The First Czechoslovak Republic.
How can I join
Everybody can join. You just have to register on www.behrepublikyid.cz, fill in necessary information, choose where you want to race and pay registration fee. You can find race rules here. here.
Renewal of tradition
On the occasion of first anniversary of foundation Czechoslovak Republic in autumn 1919, Sokol organize unprecedented sports event for all members of Sokol known as 28th October rozestavný běh Hundred years later we decided renew this tradition with Sokol Run of the Republic which is held every year on 28th October with series of races all over the republic and abroad.
Individual run
Didn't find suitable race for you to attend? Or do you prefer running alone? You can join 28th October celebrations anywhere in Czechia or in the world by registering for individual run.
